Biography

The history of the band started back in 1996 when Jamo and Joni began playing with their buddy. The boys' inspiration for music started in the legendary manner of listening to Metallica. Back then, no one in the band really knew what their instruments where going to be. Everyone tried a little bit of everything until Jamo and Joni chose guitar as their instrument. The boys continued playing until the Millennium came and the drummer decided to quit the band. Jamo and Joni played together for about a year until they found a vocalist and a keyboard player for the band.

In 2002 first song was "finished". The song was named "City of Fallen Angels" and it was recorded January 4th 2002 at Arto Kantola's Bluevoice Studio. This was Elements' (then named Chaos) first demo tape. The recording session went well even though the guitarists also played drum and bass sequences.

About two weeks later Joni played that tape at his school. In that very room was also sitting the bands future drummer Ilpo who to that day hadn't heard any of the boys' songs. Ilpo immediately liked the song and was sitting in the drummers chair pretty soon.

During the years 2002-2007, Elements played few gigs (The first one ever was in 7th of May 2005 in Vantaa, Finland), made a good sounding demo, had a few members, like singer Johanna and bass player Aki, and most of all - practiced like a hell!
