DOWNFALL: Studio Update

Hello, nice to see you all again! Well, it`s been more than two years than we last made some noise documentwise, but hey, what the hell? We´ve been busy to make some REAL noise for all of you since that...and finally...ehmm...almost finally it`s the time to reveal all that. So let`s get down to it....this is what happened. Since the release of our latest effort, the 2006 self-titled E.P. we have been writing new material, rehearsing with a partly new line-up and even throwing some nice gigs. Way too little gigs though...Anyway, in September 2007 things had come to the point that we had 8 new songs to be recorded and as the history repeats itself, so did we and the natural choice was to start at Studi

Biography

Downfall was founded in 1998. As mentioned earlier, the band signed a record deal shortly after that. Downfall has also always been an active live performer, along the way the band has supported various world class acts, such as W.A.S.P. (2004) and Sonata Arctica (2000). Also numerous self headlined club gigs in Finland and in Russia as well as a couple of sold-out shows in St. Petersburg, Russia has truly bound the band together as a solid live act.

Both of the LFR -released titles have also been licensed to various European countries (incl. Germany, Russia and Benelux-contries) and U.S.A., Canada and Japan.

Promotional video from the track Dark Parade enjoyed a decent rotation in Finnish Tv-channel Moon Tv. A collection of Downfall songs have been present at metal and rock compilation CDs and DVDs, mainly in Finland.
