Biography
Chaos Creation - the hard-assed, brain-scrambling moshpatrol from Lappeenranta, Finland, play energetic, hard driving metal influenced mainly by American thrash/speed metal bands.
The band was formed in late summer of 2004 by guitarist/riffmonster Toni and bass player/low-end brutalizer Julle. The odd sarcasm-fuelled screwball known to many as Aleksi promised to take over the vocal duties immediately and after a while, skinmaster Arto was found to fill in the demanding drummer position.
Regular training and composing of original material started right away and the first gigs were played in some local pubs of Lappeenranta in the spring of 2005. During the same period, the band’s first demo, "Dedication for Annihilation", was recorded and subsequently released in June 2005.
In December 2005 the Chaos crew, now complete with Mikko Knuutila as lead guitarist, entered Studio Dauntless in Helsinki to record their second demo/promo-cd "Psyched-Out Manipulation". It was released in February 2006 and got praising reviews in the media, including choosing as the “demo of the month” in the biggest Finnish metal site Imperiumi.net and the hardcore/punk/metal site Chambersmagazine.com.
CC spent most of 2006 gigging and practicing but in September it was time to record the demo no 3. “Homicidal Party Time”s drum tracks were laid down in D-Studio in Klaukkala and the rest was done in Studio Katajahalli in Joutseno. The demo consists of four new tracks and it was released in January 2007. However, after the recordings Arto and Mikko left the band and Tomi Malinen was drafted in as the new lead guitarist immediately. Lari Hammarberg was chosen to new drummer in March 2007.
Aleksi has left the band because og lack of time in may. Chaos Creation wound the new vocalist Tomi Kallava in the end of summer 2007 and band is training and composing of new material right now. We are ready to thrash and bang our heads again!
