CASKET has issued the following update:"We are sad to announce that Markus leaves Casket. There is no drama behind his departure. Markus is (be)heading towards new challenges in his life, towards new ambitions. We wish him well and the best of luck. He will be always be our friend and part of the legions of Casket. We recorded three demos with him and played dozens of gigs, covered thousands of miles of roads and drank one or two bottles of beer. We hope that some day we share the same stages with him. Biography

Oldschool stillborn.

Casket is brutality. Found around 2005 by two young metalheads: Ville Rutanen & Eero Silvonen, having just one dream: To bring the mutilation to the stages, all around the world. Since 2005 has happened a lot. While labels still deny the supremacy of the band, Casket keeps on driving forward with the spirit of: "Pedal to the metal".

After releasing three demos, band is kickin'it is best: "This shit is the shit we are going to do, I think we have truly found our own sound" - Comments vocalist Ville.

Playing every gig they are offered Casket wants to give audiance a total bloodbath every time. Best advertise is the fact that most of the people that have seen Casket perform live, never fully recovered from it: It is a matter of time until this shit hits you and your family, decomposes your dog and does things to your daughter. We will play a thousand 6 to 16 people gigs if necessary to prove that we are made to feed hunger of thousands of metalfans.
