Biography
Somewhere middle of the thousands of forests and lakes of Karjala there is a band called B.o.D.. The band is mixture of it’s five member’s imagination, influences, abilities, brains, guts, balls, unbeatable attitude, cats, dogs, etc... Since B.o.D. was formed in 2005 by Talka & Nieminen it has decided to blow up your heads and ears, drop the birds from the sky, turn the globe upside down, spook all the grannies on the streets and do things like they should be done. Today we see that the worlds Heavy music industry is a f*cking cliché assembly line spree. That is not the way music should be done. It’s said that Heavy Metal was cool until there were something like billion bands thinking they were the hottest band on the planet - unfortunately it is true. Because nobody else (not you, your mom or dad, your country’s leader or your god) won’t do it, B.o.D. took the battle against those standards as it’s job in order to pay tribute to their influencers and you can hear it in the band’s material; it is well finalized and everything has been thought over and over for too many times so that there would be a maximum ”quality” in it. Band’s material isn’t something that is made in few moments with a flip of a finger, it’s something much much more. It is made of finest ingredients of real Metal Music with such a heart and dedication that you won’t believe it - but don’t worry, we’ll make you believe.
During these few years many players and wannabes have been and gone, problems have been faced and solved, many fights have been argued and settled, nerves been racked and success been gained on this ride that goes on and on towards... well, who knows! All the obstacles have been rammed all the way down to the ground and people that didn’t believe in our talents earlier stucked their suspicions in their arses no later than the releasing of our first demo (second one got them stuck those even deeper). People said that the first demo was something pure, fresh and face-punching, but it was just the beginning... The second one was hundred times more of all of those and roared sraight from the hearts of us loaded with such a passion that it could do goddamn miracles! It dropped it’s heavy load on people’s foot and casted pure oldschool thrash all over it’s wake. As serious as the band is at the time about it’s being it won’t let anything come on it’s way (except gigs). The only and one thing that you can do is to join this conquer and spread the word from beyond!
These factors equal a full throttle heavy / thrash metal ride with an overdose of oldschool attitude to kick your ass and balls at the same time with it’s canoe-sized boot! Ugh! The band has spoken, so what are you still doing here?!?!
